AMBUCS Builds Ramps

Do you like to work with your hands?
Do want to help serve those with disabilities?
Then AMBUCS is for you!

Cornbelt AMBUCS builds wheelchair ramps for people with disabilities. We help find funding for those in need. The work is done by chapter members. We build to code with pressure treated lumber and screws. We usually build one or more ramps on the third Saturday of the month, following a breakfast meeting at 7:15 am.

We have partnered with other organizations to help build the ramps. The McLean County Diversity Project kids help build ramps during the year to earn credits for summer trips. Students from ISU, State Farm Insurance work units, and other groups volunteer to help.
